Siegmund Excavation & Construction Inc. has been operating in Northwest Oregon for over 40 years. The company, which specializes in forest road construction and general excavation, is led today by Andrew Siegmund. Andrew is the third generation of the Siegmund family to work in the Oregon woods.
The company began in the 1940’s as Siegmund Logging Company. Owned & operated by Ralph Siegmund Logging provided services primarily in the North Santiam Canyon. Upon returning from service in the US Air Force in 1969, Ralph’s son, Lou started Siegmund Excavation & Construction, Inc. as a complement to his father’s company. Lou’s son, Andrew took over primary operations in the 1990’s. With some updates and modernization over the years, Siegmund Excavation & Construction continues to operate out of the shop and yard that Andrew’s grandpa Ralph built in 1947.
Over the years, diversity and vertical integration have been key to the company’s continued success. The goal… to build a versatile company that reliably serves the needs of its customers.
